A quick link roundup:
- Courtesy the support for using AppleScript to script JavaScript in Safari (say that five times fast): Safari Bookmark Scripts that integrate with Sherlock and the iTunes Music Store.
- Courtesy Doc Searls among others, Technorati jumps to the top of the blog rating game with some killer new visualizations, including the Blog Power Ranking (based on inbound blogs) and the Blog Links Map (based on something—what does this graph show? I think it’s about showing all the blogs in the system by number of inbound links and ranking). Dave Sifry is definitely the guy to beat in this game now.
- Of course that doesn’t mean that Dave Winer and the community around feeds.scripting.com, especially Andrew Grumet, are going to let him hold that lead. Tivo show-sharing via RSS, anyone?
- Speaking of Dave, John Robb points to Ross Mayfield’s classification of liveblogging styles. I think I’m mostly Dedicated Transcription, with a little Impressionistic Transcription and Poignant Reflection thrown in.
- And speaking of Andrew Grumet, who’s working at MIT, looks like he and Tracy Adams now finally have weblogs.mit.edu off the ground. Great, folks; now how do we create a new blog?
