And I quote, “Man, cousin, I'm about to put in the work,/assert authority. Administrative access: crack this./If your patches back in the past, this/0day gets you on a root trip. True crypt./Key file, I will keystyle shell code,/triple sevens all up on the ch mod.” Wack.
Hey, Tim —
After being totally blown away by the Tanglewood Festival Chorus at BSO’s Carnegie hall performance of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” Monday night, I was Googling TFC and it led me to randomly stumble onto your blog here, where I read that you weren’t able to sing in the chorus due to illness. Sorry to hear it.
I sing in The Oratorio Society of New York, one of the local NYC amateur choruses. I assumed that the TFC was a group of professional singers, so imagine my shock when I found out it’s amateurs, just like my chorus. There the comparison ends, though. The TFC was utterly magnificent and I was impressed to see that the chorus sang the entire oratorio from memory, even though you all have “regular” non-chorus careers. I have no idea how you do that, unless you are all musical geniuses. Unbelievable.
Anyway, the sole point of this rambling comment is to let you know how thrilling and magnificent the TFC was at Elijah at Carnegie Hall. I hope you’re able to sing with them again soon.
Best,
Gary Ekman
